Volunteer

Wings of Love exists because people give their time. Whether you can teach a class, share a practical skill, or spend a few weeks with us in Lusaka, there is a place for you here. Every volunteer helps a child open their wings.

Teaching & Tutoring

Help in our on-site school or offer after-school tutoring in reading, mathematics, science, or English. Qualified teachers are especially needed, but anyone with patience and a love for children can make a difference.

Skills Volunteering

Share a practical skill — carpentry, sewing, cooking, farming, music, art, computer literacy, or electrical work. We run weekly skills workshops where children learn trades that can shape their future.

International Volunteers

Volunteers from around the world join us for stays of two weeks to six months. We arrange accommodation, meals, and a structured role. Past international volunteers have built dormitories, run summer camps, and installed solar panels.

Local Volunteers

For those living in or near Nairobi, we welcome regular commitments — a few hours a week or a monthly visit. Local volunteers form the backbone of our mentoring programme and weekend activities.

Partnerships

Schools, churches, companies, and community groups can partner with Wings of Love through organised visits, donation drives, skill-sharing programmes, or financial sponsorship of a child's education.
